Love this Hevishot Hevi-Bismuth, it hammers the waterfowl. Can’t wait to try in on geese and Sandhill cranes with the 10 gauge. I’ve used it quite a bit on ducks and is very effective. I’ve used it on puddle ducks, divers and sea ducks, it’s done me well.

Package arrived early. Secured packaging. Cost was WELL below others. Who would think a company name Optic Planet.com, would have the best pricing for rare ammo. Will be ordering again VERY soon-thanks!!

I'm typically not one to go out of my way to write negative reviews, but I feel as though I must for this product. Hevi-Shot markets their "Hevi-Bismuth" line as a premium product, and charges nearly three-times what other companies are charging for their steel shot loads. However, I have shot plenty of steel loads and killed birds more cleanly than I have with Hevi-Bismuth. I'm not sure how it's possible, but the Hevi-Bismuth 10 gauge #4's pattern worse and result in more cripples and losses than any other steel and "premium" non-steel waterfowl loads that I've used. Save yourself some money and bag more birds with virtually any other 10 gauge waterfowl option.
